Meet our director and principal audiologist

With over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Hobart Hearing Care’s principal audiologist, Jackie Misson, is passionate about hearing health. Beginning her career as a Registered Nurse, Jackie’s enthusiasm for knowledge inspired her to pursue further studies in the field of audiology. She obtained a Master of Clinical Audiology at the University of Melbourne, and is now a Qualified Practitioner and member of Australia’s professional audiology body, Audiology Australia. Jackie established Hobart Hearing Care in January 2024, as she saw an opportunity to create an environment in Hobart where locals can receive second-to-none hearing health care and participate in relaxed and transparent discussions about the most suitable options to reach their hearing goals.
